- Dinner in North Beach or near the Embarcadero. Reserve if you have a large group.
Day 3
Golden Gate views
- Morning
- Take a taxi or transit to the Golden Gate Bridge Welcome Center. Walk only as far as feels comfortable.
- Afternoon
- Continue to the Presidio for lunch and a waterfront walk at Crissy Field, if conditions suit.
- Evening
- Return to your hotel. Enjoy a last dinner and pack.
Day 4
One easy morning

- Breakfast near the waterfront and check-out.

- Take BART or your transfer to SFO. Follow your airline’s check-in guidance.

- Travel home.
If plans change
Fog may hide the bridge. Swap days 1 and 3 activities where time allows, but keep the timed Alcatraz booking. In rain, use the Ferry Building’s indoor shops.
Make it fit your group
Alcatraz has steep grades; check its accessible transport before booking. Families can shorten the bridge walk. Groups should share a ferry departure. Share your route with someone at home; use a hosted outing when you want company.
Set your total budget
Price three hotel nights, flights, airport transfers, transit or taxis, Alcatraz tickets, and meals. A rental car and hotel parking are not needed for this route.
